A quick catch up of all the monthly wrap ups I didn’t post since November’s(?!?!?!)

December

As a secular celebrant of Christmas, I read a lot of holiday themed books in December. I do try to read books centered around other December holidays, I’m just not always successful!

January

A link to my monthly reading on StoryGraph if you prefer the text to the photo. This year, I’m participating in a few challenges, instead of just my normal one with the local bookshop. Though I did create a StoryGraph challenge for the 2 Dandelions one! I’m also participating in the Novelist Challenge, the BookRiot Read Harder 2025 challenge, and a couple that StoryGraph themselves are hosting; their Read the World Challenge (which I haven’t started) and their Genre Challenge.

I am still trying to figure out how to make getting my TBR under a certain number a goal in StoryGraph, but I just don’t think that functionality exists yet. Speaking of which, I got a cheap UPC scanner (it’s pink, it’s so cute!) and scanned all my books that I had upstairs to make sure I had the correct editions on my TBR. It also had the side effect of discovering not all of the physical books I own are on my TBR! SO. Now I’m back up to 648 on my TBR, despite my best efforts last year to get it under 600. *womp womp*

What are you reading this year? Any fun challenges?
