Booked on a Feeling

jenny_bean_reads

Jayci Lee freaking crushed it with this story, holy crap!

This book captured the desire to do what makes you happy juxtaposed with family expectations and assumptions perfectly. It is absolutely insane how well those feeling come off the page and make me feel seen.

And the friends to lovers was so sweet, and hooo boy did it get me hot and bothered!

I love books, and reading has always been a refuge and joy for me. And I get to say all that while also letting you all know that I have accepted an über part time position at my local library! I am very excited about the position, and helping people with books and discover their local library is thrilling. So, it felt rather apropos to end up reading this book while also doing some self discovery at the same time. Very validating!

This may be my first Jayci Lee book, but it will definitely not be my last!

Tropes!
Friends to Lovers
Miscommunication (just a touch, not bad)
