A super sweet read, even without the cupcakes!

A fake dating, everyone catches feels romance that was light, and the third act disaster was amazing! No break ups because of communication bullshit! It was what they needed, and I really liked how it all came together.

I also loved how Jada and Donovan learned from each other without one of them overwhelming the other in the process. They owned their shit and came together to move forward, pre- and post-breakup. It was amazing.

A light, fun read, and I think it would be a great palette cleanser or beach read.

NOTE: I purchased this book from Once Upon a Book Club, and I really enjoyed the gifts that came with it! A first aid kit, a coloring poster that I am dying to do, a wine glass, a lipstick and some silicone cupcake wrappers that I am absolutely thrilled about! I don’t do every book box they have, but I have really enjoyed the ones I’ve gotten!
